Therapy with me is collaborative and non-judgmental.

My clients say I'm easy to talk to because I'm a real person with them.  I will share tools to help you change the patterns in your life that make you feel stuck.  I use mindfulness and somatic body-awareness in our sessions to work through your experiences so you can heal from your painful stories.

I became a therapist because of my own journey through mental health recovery. I have a deep understanding of how challenging, and often scary, the work of therapy is and how beautiful life can feel after coming through the muck. I want to support you in launching your most full life, too.

I am curious about getting to know your uniqueness. I am committed to dismantling patriarchy and white supremacy throughout my life. Understanding ourselves within the context of our society often brings deep relief to the ways we have been suffering.  I identify as white, transgender, non-binary and queer.

I am the former Mental Health Director at St James Infirmary, a free health clinic for current and former sex workers. I am passionate about harm reduction, ending homelessness, and helping people overcome chronic mental health issues.  I delight in offering supervision and supporting new therapists on their journey to licensure.

I studied Integral Counseling Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies.  I am certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Skills Group Leadership from Behavioral Tech, I am trained in EMDR and I formerly consulted with the SF Department of Public Health on supporting clients through gender affirming medical care.  I am a graduate of Spirit Rock's Dedicated Practitioner Program.
